We build too many walls and not enough bridges

We build too many walls and not enough bridges” started with Isaac Newton.
Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian. He is considered by many scholars to be one of the most influential people in the history of the world.
Newton speaks of the walls and bridges we create in our minds. The quote means we create too many limitations, obstacles and problems, instead of creating solutions and finding ways to do something, or to make things better. Why do people do this? Because it is easier and doesn't take any effort and because many are afraid of change and see it as something bad. But change is an essential part of life and it is a mistake to make it our enemy. Building walls creates the illusion of protection and feeling of safety but stalls and hinders us on our way to success and growth. The quotation could also be interpreted as a calling to be more open-minded and imaginative, and to think positively and look for ways to solve things and make things better, instead of looking for excuses and ways to avoid taking action for the better.
Getting a friend is like building a bridge. You try to be connected. You find out, what your friend likes, what she likes to talk about, what she likes to do. These are stones that build a bridge of friendship. Friendship is not only that you like the shining parts of a person. It is about liking the whole person. Friendship is about accepting the variety of human kind: different religions, different manners and different ways to live. These are the most import stones to build a bridge of friendship. If you build a wall, you are metaphorically isolating yourself. A wall stops people from seeing each other or connecting with one another. It creates distance. On the other hand, if you build a bridge, you are creating a way for people to meet. You are making it possible to overcome an obstacle that might come between you and another person. You are creating a solution. Imagine you are trying to get somewhere, to go visit a friend, but along your journey you run into wall after wall that barricades your path.  It would make getting to that friend much more difficult.  Instead imagine that same journey, and at every obstacle, like large rivers, there was a bridge there for you to cross.  That would make getting to your friend much easier.  If you take that idea and put it into symbolic form, people should be doing all that they can to build bridges to friendships. In a friendship you should encourage one another. That is a very important way to build bridges in a friendship. If instead you were to discourage your friend, criticize her work too much, laugh about her that would be building walls.
So my goal is:Build bridges, not walls. Spread love, not hate.
